Love Sculpture

Located at Sakura Lake Sports Park in Weihai, China, Love is a 42-meter-tall interactive media sculpture defined by a continuous stainless steel ring emerging from water. By day, the form expresses fluidity and scale; by night, it becomes a dynamic field of light.

Twelve continuous bands of cBright ChromaLux™ linear fixtures are embedded within the structure, forming a luminous ring of color and motion. Each segment operates as part of a coordinated media system, enabling animation across the entire volume.

The installation is driven by participation. Twelve bicycles connect to the ChromaMaster™ control system, allowing visitors to influence light in real time. Speed and interaction directly shape color, movement, and visual intensity—transforming the sculpture into a responsive, shared experience.

Blending structure, media, and human input, Love demonstrates how interactive lighting can extend beyond illumination to create engagement, connection, and identity within public space.
