At the core of Lumstone is a patented tempered glass construction with an integrated low-voltage LED module. The system produces exceptionally even illumination with no visible dark spots, allowing the entire surface to glow consistently across each tile or brick. Available in single color, RGB, or RGBW versions with DMX512 control, Lumstone can create anything from subtle ambient lighting to dynamic color-changing installations.
Customization is central to the system. Tile sizes, surface patterns, textures, and finishes can all be tailored to complement the surrounding architecture. While the frosted glass finish remains the most popular for its elegant diffusion, additional finishes that imitate natural stone, concrete, or wood textures are also available.
Built for demanding outdoor environments, Lumstone combines aesthetics with durability. The tempered glass surface is abrasion-resistant, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, and engineered to maintain long-term color stability. Wall-mounted versions are rated IP65, while floor applications achieve IP67 protection for reliable operation in wet and harsh climates.
For floor installations, the tempered glass thickness ranges from 0.5" to 0.75" (12–19 mm), enabling Lumstone tiles to withstand loads of up to 1.5 tons. The low-voltage system also simplifies installation and maintenance while providing a safe lighting solution for public environments.
